Here is the hex to decimal ESN converter, aws I know someone will need it. My
k1m only displays the ESN in hex exceot on the serial number label! Go figure!

I haven't found an offline calc for the cell ESN converter.

Oh metroPCS has a new PRL as of the last week or so.
Their standard phones now have a PRL of 22, and the multimedia phones,
like our SLVR and KRZR, etc is now a PRL of 67.
You can usually enter in the home SID and tell the phone Home Network only to
allow the phone to call the desired providers *228. On metro, just select 2 when
prompted to update your Roaming list.
Oh one last little hint that I got from a dealer while doing ESN changes.
When you call into metroPCS whether their 888-8METRO8 number or *228
and select activation if you don't want to hear the nearly ten minutes of
recorded B*llsh*t simply punch in *43 when you hear the 'we want to
make you listen to our crap recording before you can talk to us' routine begin,
you will bypass all of it and the system will then transfer you directly to an operator
or put you right on the cue for the next available one.
It comes in real handy!!!!!

This is small but handy zipfile that has the newest metroPCS PRL files - You want to put 67 on your L7c and leave the ERI to whatever is originally on the Metro phone. My friends had an ERI of 4, but I have seen some nowadays with a value of 1 and even 0 will work but not as well. The Excel sprad sheet in in there too along with some misc text files for reference, that might be of help.
